MiWave Terms of Use
Effective 8 October 2026
These terms govern your use of MiWave, a contact-card application provided by Alef Digital Solutions, our registered business name. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Alef Digital Solutions.
Use MiWave responsibly, share only information you are entitled to share, and keep separate copies of details you need to preserve.
1. Using MiWave
By using MiWave, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the app. If you use MiWave on behalf of an organisation, you must have authority to do so.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use MiWave for lawful personal or professional contact exchange, subject to these terms and any applicable app-store terms. You may stop using the app at any time.
2. Your cards and other people’s information
You retain your rights in the information you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy and for having the necessary permission or other lawful authority to store and share it. Do not impersonate someone, misrepresent your identity, or disclose another person’s non-public contact details without authority.
Sharing a QR code or contact file makes its contents available to anyone who can read or receive it. Check all fields before sharing. MiWave does not verify identity, employment, contact ownership, or the accuracy of received cards.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use MiWave for fraud, harassment, spam, unlawful surveillance, or other unlawful conduct. Do not interfere with the app’s operation, exploit it to harm others, or use it to violate another person’s rights.
Do not copy or distribute MiWave’s branding or proprietary software as your own. These terms do not restrict rights you have under applicable law or the licences of included open-source components.
4. Local storage and sharing
MiWave stores cards locally and does not provide an account, cloud backup, or synchronisation service in its current version. You are responsible for keeping separate copies of important contact information. Clearing data, uninstalling the app, or losing access to a device can remove records.
Deleting a MiWave card does not delete exported files, copies held by recipients, or separately saved phone contacts. Adding a phone contact does not establish continuing synchronisation with MiWave. Our Privacy Policy explains permissions, storage, and sharing.
5. Devices and third-party services
Camera scanning, image selection, system contact forms, sharing, calling, and email depend on compatible devices, operating systems, and other apps. Availability and behaviour can vary. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
MiWave is an independent product of Alef Digital Solutions. Google, Google Play, Android, Apple, and iOS are names or marks of their respective owners; use of their platforms does not imply endorsement of MiWave.
6. Ownership and updates
MiWave’s name, branding, and software are owned by Alef Digital Solutions or their respective licensors. Included third-party software remains subject to its own licences.
We may correct errors, update the app, change supported features, or discontinue versions. Availability of support, future updates, or a particular feature is not guaranteed. We may revise these terms and identify the revised effective date. Any additional notice or agreement required by applicable law will be provided.
7. Warranties, responsibility, and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MiWave is provided “as is” and “as available”, without additional warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. This does not exclude warranties or guarantees that the law requires.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alef Digital Solutions is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate details you provide, unauthorised sharing by you or recipients, failures of third-party services, or loss of local records resulting from device loss, uninstallation, or storage clearing. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.
8. Ending use and contacting us
You can end your use of MiWave by uninstalling it. Permission to use the app ends if you materially breach these terms, subject to applicable law. Copies of contact details held outside the app must be managed separately.
For questions, support, or a concern about these terms, contact Alef Digital Solutions at [email protected] and identify MiWave. We encourage you to contact us to try to resolve a concern; doing so does not restrict your right to seek remedies available under applicable law.
